Specific Chiropractic Adjustments
Specific Chiropractic Adjustments are generally performed under traction to ensure the adjustments will hold as long as possible. No cookie cutter, "same as last time" treatment. We focus on posture (how you stand) and biomechanics (how you move) to determine what needs to be done on each visit.
Radial Pulse Wave
Radial Pulse Wave is a state of the art high frequency sound wave that breaks up scar tissue and increases circulation in areas of chronic pain and dysfunction. It is especially helpful in nagging shoulder issues, carpal tunnel syndrome, heel spurs and plantar fasciitis.
Dry Needling
Dry Needling is for stubborn trigger points and is a very effective therapy for pain relief. Very small filiform (acupuncture) needles are inserted into the area to decrease pain and increase function. Although we use the same needles as acupuncturists, dry needling is NOT considered acupuncture.
Custom Shoe Inserts
When needed we build Customized Orthotics (shoe inserts) for fallen arches and foot pain, as well as stabilization of knee and low back issues. A laser scan and HD picture of your feet/arches are taken and sent to Virginia where a custom set of orthotics (shoe inserts) are custom built to your specifications.
On Site X-Ray
X-ray is utilized ONLY when needed, which is usually on less than 10% of our new patient visits.
Intersegmental Traction Table
Mechanical traction (roller table) can be utilized to soften up the tissues if needed for those difficult and hard to adjust mid back areas.
Electric Muscle Stimulatoin
Electrical Muscle Stimulation is available for high level muscle spasms in the lower and upper back if needed.
